Tulsa has an established reputation as one of the most charitable and philanthropic cities nation-wide. In order to preserve our city’s prized identity and culture, purposeful commitment and investment is needed that nurtures our next generation of philanthropic leaders. Youth Philanthropy Initiative (YPI) and Tulsa Changemakers are working together to jumpstart this conversation.

Intended Outcomes:

YPI and Changemakers propose a city-wide Summit for Youth Philanthropy that will:

• Showcase the power of youth philanthropic leadership and its potential to create transformative change;

• Promote and generate thought leadership on youth philanthropy and evidence-based best practices, drawing from the experiences of local organizations;

• Galvanize resource mobilization and community action to expand the youth philanthropy ecosystem in Tulsa.
