The Tulsa Changemakers Advisory Committee is made up of Changemakers alumni, Changemakers parents/guardians, former Changemakers Coaches, and community members. The Committee is responsible for guiding the Changemakers organization, supporting alumni programs, and helping with other functions of the organization. Meetings are once per month on Wednesdays from 5:30-6:30pm. Youth on the committee meet a second time each month during the same time to work on subcommittees. Subcommittees include College and Career, Communications and Branding, and Community Engagement. Email Jake Lerner at firstname.lastname@example.org if you're interested in the Advisory Committee.
Power of Youth
Power of Youth is a crash course in how to show up for your community. It's designed for students in 7th-11th grade who want to make a positive change in our community. Through 5 Power Sessions and 4 Work Sessions youth will learn critical skills in community advocacy and impact and then apply those skills for a cause of their choice.
Most meetings are in-person at the Leadership Tulsa office at 1151 S Elgin Ave. Some meetings will be at special locations around the downtown area. The program is free of cost and is open to any student who lives in the Tulsa area and is going into grade 7, 8, 9, 10, or 11.
Email Jake Lerner at email@example.com if you have any questions.
