Measuring Outcomes
Our Philosophy of Program Quality and Measurement
All our methodologies of measurement are low-stakes, as opposed to high-stakes, because it is important for us to create a community of practice that is defined by openness, trust, and mutual respect. Low-stakes professional learning communities provide opportunities for reflection, support, and growth, as opposed to high-stakes forms of measurement that might focus on evaluation and punishment. We seek to create the future world we want to live in with everything that we do, and we would prefer to live in a world defined by support over evaluation, relationships over bureaucracy, and restoration over retribution.
